Here is the finished animatic with sound for my film. I didn't include sound effects or foley sounds as I just wanted to get the mood right. I used the following tracks for this animatic.

Final Storyboard for the animatic stage
During the montage sequence, I thought about the pace very carefully. The shots with Betty cooking and dashing left and right between the kitchen and William's booth decrease as time goes by whilst the shots with William eating remain the same each time we see him eating. I want to build on William's shape grammar of triangles and squares which comes across as him being slow and turn him into even more of an obstacle for Betty as time goes by during the montage sequence. This sequence is the climax point of the film. The fastest shot of Betty is 0.15 secs which is around 3 frames. Thinking of the audience, and knowing that any cut has to last 6 frames at least, this won't matter too much as they would have seen the same shot of Betty dashing left twice already and the music I have planned to use in my film will keep in time with this sequence and will exaggerate Betty's desire to leave the diner and go party with her friends.
The timing seen on this storyboard is just a rough idea of what I think each shot should last for. There are 53 shots at the moment and the whole film is around the 2:45 - 3:00 mark.
Camera notations:
WS - Wide shot
VWS - Very wide shot
MS - Mid shot
TS - Two shot
CU - Close up
NS - Noddy shot
ECU - Extreme close up

Character Design - Colour Tests
I have done some colour tests of both my characters to see which combinations of colour work best. Williams' colour palette was easier to decide on whereas Betty's were more difficult. I think they work well together but when it comes to constructing them in Illustrator, they will have more definition to them because I'll use textures and hues.
Character Design - Betty Anderson Turn Around
Betty was more difficult to draw the turn around because of her curvy body shape mainly. I drew the side and back views although we'll never see them on screen, just the three quarter views and front view.

Character Design - Facial Expressions
I really enjoyed doing the facial expressions for my characters. The faces we see here aren't all of the faces I'll be having in my film however as some are missing. I just wanted to get across the emotions the characters will be portraying during the film.
Team Update
Last week I approached Ella to see what she had been up to over the past three weeks since I gave her first task to develop the colours for the two matte paintings I am going to have in my film. Unfortunately she didn't produce work to a standard I had been expecting and immediately felt she didn't want to work on my film anymore so I spoke to her about the work I had given her and her progress. I came to the decision to relieve her of her task as she has work for Estelle's film and I have almost finished the colour palette for my film anyway.
On Thursday I spoke to Hillary about my film again, this time we spoke about the scale of the project and the help I am going to get. I decided that I needed help modelling my scenes so I approached Zoe to see if she had any free time with her own projects to give me a hand with modelling my diner scene. She asked me to send her the asset list for my film which details every asset that needs to be designed, drawn, painted, modelled and textured and send it her so she can start thinking about what needs to be blueprinted before modelling.
