Character Design - Model Builds - Shape Grammar

Shape grammar is very important in character design. I based the shapes of my characters on circles, triangles and squares mainly.

Betty is the protagonist so her shape grammar has to represent friendliness, warm and like-ability. She is a waitress so she has to be quick and agile so I decided to use circles and triangles to show these in her shape.

William is essentially the opposite of Betty so I had to use squares and triangles to represent his stubbornness as well as his sneaky and underlying motive in my story.
