Diner Name Ideas
Linda's (or other name) Diner - could have a neon sign with her face on it smiling. This will immediately tell the audience how the owner is very lively and fun. We'll see this during the pan down into the diner during the establishing shot. At the end of the shot, we track into the diner where we see the Linda the owner (we can tell she's the owner because the sign outside will show her face) but we see her pulling a different face - sad and bored. This will set up the character for the rest of the film and also entice people into watching the rest of the film because they want to know why the owner of the diner is sad. The answer - she wants to party but is stuck at work.
Richie’s / Richard's Diner - her dad’s name? Reflects the waitresses' back story of her father bringing her up but then got killed during the war and her way of remembering her dad is to name the diner after him.
